This cabin is located on the banks of the Missouri River near Wynot, Nebraska. Looking north across the river you can see Goat Island. It is about a mile east of Sportsman's Bar and Grill and the Brooky Bottom boat ramp and park.
The cabin is located on leased land and the lease rate is only about $300 per year.
This cabin is located in an area that is excellent for hunting and fishing. Hunters will find numerous deer, turkey, pheasant, ducks, geese, and coyotes.
The Wiseman Wildlife Management Area is only a few miles away. Wiseman Wildlife Management Area is a 380-acre area of steep wooded bluffs near the river. Wildlife includes deer, dove, rabbit, squirrel and turkey. From town it is five miles east, one mile north, and one mile west of Wynot on a county road.
Fishermen will find some of the best walleye, sauger, smallmouth bass, and catfish angling in the midwest. The cabin is located approximately 15 to 20 miles east of Gavin's Point Dam and Lewis and Clark Lake.
The price includes the furnished cabin with screened porch, a storage shed, and a dock. The cabin purchase includes refrigerator, microwave, table with chairs, double bed, couch, chairs, television, air, heat, running water, shower, toilet, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, stove/oven, grill, fish cleaning sink outside, propane tank.
Thousands of dollars worth of rip rap rock is on the bank to prevent washout from the river.
The chain link fence in the photos is able to be taken down in minute if not desired. We used it when young children were present.
Our family has enjoyed this cabin for several years but we are about to complete the building of my father's retirement house about a mile down stream and we no longer need it.
