This is a nice one. I bought this from an in-depth angling ad in Jan 2006, it was used, and the guy that sold it to me commented that if you can't trust another IDA member who can you trust, we are both just two fisherman after the same thing, besides, who knows I might have the pleasure of fishing next to you someday, so I better be honorable.

I'm estimating that this motor has less than 200 hours on it. The fella I bought it from had lost his brother who was the original owner. The motor is a 2000 model, it looked brand new when I got it, and I have taken real nice care of it myself likely only put 150 hours myself. I got a deal on it, and I'm hoping to pass it on to someone else. It is a 25 hp Yamaha, long shaft, tiller model. It has electric start (never misses), it is a manual lift with what I call shallow water drive, you can pull it up partially if you are getting in somewhere you don't want to be. I am religious on maintenance, oil and filter change every 40 hours, and had new lower unit seals and water pump put in spring of 2007, (didn't need it, but was heading to Canada for a week). I have the original owners manual, a usuable (one ding) spare prop, a home made wooden motor stand and I think an extra oil filter I will toss in on the deal.

I currently have this on a Lund Rebel 1650 that is overloaded with toys to start with. I can go 25 mph by myself, 22mph with one more guy, toss in a third guy and I just can't get over 17 mph. I plan on trying to sell it and look for a 40....hope I have as good of luck with a new one that I have had with this one.

Motor is located in eastern Nebraska, but I get to Iowa quite often and would be willing to drive part way for delivery if necessary, or if the fish are biting somewhere close to you.

I will post pictures on June 20th. Call 402-366-6396.

Asking $1450.

Don't worry about the $4 gas to come get this, as once you have it on your boat you won't burn much.
