No, water is way to cold yet. Any that started showing up are back out with temps in the 30's.

Nothing was in the bays this Saturday, but Sunday's weather did some good, if walleye's aren't biting next weekend, the panfishing should be good.

Was out today, surface temp was 55 degrees on Horseshoe.
The gills and crappies were staged in 5-7' water near the deeper holes.
If we get some consistant weather they will move shallower, but it looks to start raining hard in a few more hours.
I think the water levels are pretty close to normal right now, lets hope for more rain this summer that last year, but not too much.
Good luck to all on opener!

I was on the Chain until dark last night and caught several Gills 3 to 7 fow. Had to pick through the small ones but I did get a few bulls of 7 to 8 inchs. Using a 1/32 oz and a float, no bait. Picked up just one Crappie, hopefully some consistant warm weather will help things pick up.

My crew will hit the shallow bays Friday afternoon/evening. We'll focus on Walleyes all Saturday in hopes of catching enough for a traditional opener shore lunch, but after that Northern fishing on Becker lake is a blast. You pretty much catch a fish every other cast...
