I beleive they were in pre-spawn a week ago, with the warmer temps we've had recently, they are probably spawning right now...Anyone been out this week to verify?

Re: Are the Walleyes in Pre Spawn/Spawn/Post Spawn?
[Re: skeeterzx225]
With the Wisonsin opener last weekend we had many of our females spawned out. I heard of many people who were out with spotlights the night before and witnessed many fish spawinging in the shallows. The two lakes I am reffering to were both lakes that had ice go out 1 day and 4 days before opener and we did not have much for nice weather. I would guess that the fish are spawned out or are spawning. Also though, not all fish spawn at the same time so dont put all your eggs in one basket. We did mark many fish on the drop offs right off some spawning areas. We could not get these to bite. So those fish were either staging to spawn or were just done and laying close to the bottom, Just my 2 cents
