Big dent in boat...any suggestions...
#672761 - 05/09/08 01:44 PM

I picked up a boat that has a dent in the side that was hit by a jet ski... Structurally sound, but cosmetically ugly. The guy tried to pound out the dent...didn't do that good of a job. Just wondering if I should take it to a body shop to try and have it smoothed out? Any other suggestions? Does anybody know a "specialist" in something like this?? Thanks for your replies in advance...Ted

R&R has new owners. Don't know if they kept the same guys there in the shop. I had a few friends working there and they all left due to the new owners.

Ted,
Have your tried the guy down by Nutbush City Limits??
I know he does aluminum welding so maybe he does dents.

It's about an hour and half from you (Mondovi), but you may want to consider Five Star Boat Hull Repair (715) 926-4239.
