I'm new to the site, so this might be in the wrong place. Does anyone have any ice reports for the Mississippi? I'm thinking of heading to the Sny Magill area if there is good ice.
There's safe ice on most of the river, but i've never been to the sny magill area and i've heard that Johnson's slough can be a bit dangerous. Any reports from the area would be great too!
there's good ice on sny magill I haven't fished it this year yet I haven't. heard. any good reports lately with lower water levels and thick ice id venture to norweigon or sandbar in snymagill

Thanks for the quick responses, guys. When you get to the parking lot there, do you head directly across Johnson's? And can all of that slack water between Johnson's and the main channel be fished?
