I found a thing that helps me learn the operation of my locator. If you go to the home page of the company who makes your electronics you can down load a demo version of the modle of fish finder you use right to your desk top.
I down loaded my version,and I can practice on it any time I want through out the year.

I found that downloading that demo worked great for me also... both on my lowrance fish finder as well as my new ifinder h20c.
