We had a great time in my boat. We spent some of the morning pulling cranks in the upper part of the lake, but that was a really slow bite for us. Before lunch we switched over to fishing bait at the head of the lake, and it was non-stop fun. After lunch we found a nice bunch of keeper eyes dragging crawlers on light jigs in shallow water. The guest of honor, Jacob, popped the big one. He was a really quick study on giving those light-biting eyes just enough time to get the jig into their craw. Way to go Jacob!
Thanks for sharing the pics Bill and Briank. It's all about showing the kids a great time. Memorries to last for years. God willing I hope to do it again next year.
