In following suit of others, I am offering a Full Day (8-10 hour) trip on Mille Lacs Lake in support of the Brandon Rolen Foundation. All proceeds from the auction of this trip will go directly to the Foundation. I first met Sampson (Brandon’s Father) last Fall during the filming of the IDO Video released last December. I spent a good 30 hours on the water with Sampson in just a few days. It did not take long to figure out that he had a very strong passion for his Camera/Filming and even a greater one for his family. I later met Sampson’s wife and family during the editing process. What a tremendous family and once I heard about the Brandon Rolen foundation I knew I had to do something to help. Well here it is, a chance for the winner of this auction to help out a great cause.

The trip will take place on Mille Lacs. We will focus on pulling cranks. This trip is good for 1-3 people, to enjoy a great time on the water for an even better cause. Here is the fun part. The winner of this auction will get to choose one of the following two trips:

TRIP 1:
Pulling cranks on planer boards. Dates are negotiable, but the best bite has been typically from June 15th to Mid July. I can do a weekend day or week days are possible. I would like to target the end of June for this trip. Times of this trip are typically 8 am to 5 pm, but can be flexible. Typically this bite does not produce a number of eater fish, but it does produce big walleyes like pictured above. Click on the links below to see past planer board trips.

OR

TRIP 2:
Pulling cranks in the Fall around the infamous September or October Full Moons. Dates are negotiable, but the best bite has been typically a few days either side of the Full Moon. This year both Septembers and Octobers full moon occurs on the 26th of the Month. I can do most weekend nights or any week nights. This trip is usually from sundown until the late evening/early morning. Typically this bite produces fish of all sizes, with usually a few limits to take home along with an opportunity at some awful large fish (Northern and Walleyes). All that is required of the winner of this trip to bring is, a cooler of favorite beverages & snacks, a MN fishing license, Camera, Rain gear or warm clothes/sun screen if needed, and a fun attitude and willingness to catch fish.
