Thanx Jason. We will be back up for a week starting May 26 and staying at Chetak. Plan on hitting a few lakes in the area. Did pretty good when we went up last fall for 4 days

Any recommendations on some great lakes to hit for walleye during the week we are up there the end of May? We are staying on Big Chetak and Birchwood

Nothing wrong with staying on Big Chetac....a really good early season lake for eyes! Plus, you're a hop, skip, and a jump from the Chetek chain.

Depending on how far you want to drive, I might suggest Lac Court Orielles to the north (for size) and Wissota to the south (for numbers) to chase eyeballs.
