We usually head up ever fishing opener but since dad past last year, it will be the first time we missed it! I'm trying to get my mom to go with me though...but I think the memories might be a bit much yet for her!
Vman...hit the water last night with my daughter and my mother. The wind was out of the north so we went directly across from Barron County Park and set up. Using leaches we had a blast with the bluegills and crappie. After about an hour we decided since the winds were dying we would hit in front of the park. Again we nailed the gills and crappies! We ended the night at 7:00 with a nice catch of eaters! My daughter (7 years old) had a blast and my mother had a great time too! Maybe next time I'll be able to do some fishing!
Glad they were where I told you. Really glad your Mom and daughter had fun . Its always extra nice for the young ones and grand parents to get out and catch some fish.
