Its that time again. The ARM- Lake Menomin event is scheduled for June 2nd. We are in need of anglers to take the kids and the bigs out for a fun day of fishing. Hey Don,
I am currently a 2nd year student attending school over here at stout. Currently I am mostly fishing the red cedar just below the dam, I am fairly interested in this. I have a house over here during the summer and plan on bringing my boat over with me. Any more details would be awesome!

Hey Peteyb your help would be appreciated for sure. I guess we have 12 kids signed up to go out on Menomin wiith there big brother or sister. We have a pavillion for lunch and launch at the 21st avenue launch. The kids/bigs show up between 7:45-8:00. Jackie and I will be there early with coffee/cookies for everyone. You would need to have boat and tackle (rods reels,life jackets,bait) for a big and little to use. We will furnish the lunch and we usually have a great day on the water.

Peteyb, give me a shout and I will get ya out on the lake. thanks guys, let us know when you get the OK. last year everyone was on fish so alot of happy faces at the end of the day. Lenny and Bill will have the gills dialed in and will be glad to share their spots. Sully will have the trolling pattern down for ya. I may know where to jig up and eye or two.
This is the free fishing weekend for WI. also so if you care to join us from accross the boarder, it won't cost ya.

Don Hanson guides on this lake so there will be lots of free fishing tips given out so even if you have never been on this lake before you will catch lots of fish. Fishing spots will be given, pointed to, and you can follow anyone you want to follow also. Its a very fun lake to fish. And theres a real nice park right at the landing for eating lunch at and talkin fishin before, during lunch and after the event too. See you there. And like Don said-you DON'T need a Wisconsin fishing license to fish in Wisconsin that weekend as its the FREE FISHING weekend in Wisconsin. Add all that up and you have a win-win situation all the way around for everyone. See you there.

Still need some more boaters!! Yep the fishing should be good. Heres the plan boaters arrive by 7:00 or so and launch your rigs. There's good shoreline to pull the boats up on. Come on up to the pavillion for hot coffee, or hot chocolate if you prefer, cookies,maybe donuts or rolls or ? Have a little meet and greet with all. Kids start arriving 7:45-8:00 and you get matched up an off you go fishing. We'll let you know what time lunch is so your back in plenty of time to eat and relax then its back out fishing for more fun. The event is June 2nd,at the point comfort launch in Menomonie Wis. The launch is at the end of 21st avenue. What you need to bring is life jackets and some extra rods and reels for the big and little to use. I believe we will have crawlers there but since our bait store is no longer in business if you want leeches or minnows you will have to bring them with. You may want to bring a small cooler for your boat with some ice and bottled water or something to drink. We will have bottled water/pop for lunch and whatever is left from that can go back out in the boats. Bring your cameras to get those special shots. If anyone has any questions just ask. Thanks

Don I signed up on the other thread.
Lake Menomin is easy to fish if anyone is worried about that. The information given out about where and how is spot on. Don and Jason ( sorry if I missed anyone )prefishing really get it nailed down for us. Don has fished this lake extensively and tells all. A big thanks goes out to them to make the day great.

Depending on where in the cities but I would guess about and hour and 15 minutes or so. The lake is right in Menomonie Wisconsin, just off of hwy 94. Any other questions just shout. Thanks

from Prescott you can take HWY 29 into Menomonie. Probably take a little loger than taking 94.
