Now scoll down to: Your current avatar::
Click on the Browse button to upload your pic the same way you would attach a pic to a email or a post here on IDA. Uploaded pictures must be approved by the admin so it may not show up right away.

yes i click on avatar then browse select the pic i want it then says a bunch of stuff in the blank the name of pic ect. ok then i click submit and go look again and the avatar deal is blank again so i am a bit confused

im new here and this sounds like this is the same problem i am having, thought it was more on my end , not being real sharp on the computer side of things. i will be getting dsl, on the 26th and then maybe you could assist me with my avatar, and change to my new email address? thanks

I'm have uploaded my picture for my profile several times and waited for approval. I have never had a photo and they say the first one is on the house.
