Brainerd area lakes

I'm heading up for vacation August 18-25th. We're staying at a place on Lake Edward. Was curious what other small lakes around the area you'd reccommend for bass fishing and pan fishing?

I will be up at the same time, on a different lake, and usually make the trip over to Edward
