Hayward lakes Labor day update at IDOfishing.com

I was only able to break away for a couple of hours over the weekend for some semi-serious fishing. Tim and I spent our time pitching crawler halves to green cabbage beds in 8-12 feet of water on the Spider Chain, and we were rewarded with 3 decent eyes, 2 of which are shown here. Together with the ever-present LM bass and some decent sunnies, we had a quite respectable, although too brief, trip.

Water temps in the area are in the low-mid 70s. Water levels remain quite low, although Spider did see a just a bit of recovery in the past week.
