What nobody fishing this fall?? Its prime time for piggies on the IGL's. Smallies, walleyes, muskies and perch. Nows the time to get after them while their putting on the feedbags for winter.
Fishing from shores been producing some fish. Our opening weekend hunting group hunts half a day then heads up to East and fish till dark. This year like most was great, mixed bag of Walleyes, Gills, perch, White and Yellow bass and a few Crappies.
If you have put the boat and rods away for the year you are missing some of the best fishing for the big girls. Luckily theres still time left, so get out and wet a line.

Just got done hauling corn for a farmer the whole last month so went out yesterday locally. 1 Bass and was using minnows for crappie. Actually Hickory Grove right before that was pretty hot on the crappie bite. Came home and hosed the boat off and making it ready for winter. I might give the river a try yet though. Doing my winter prep. for icefishing also.

I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT OTHERS BUT I HAVE BEEN ON POOL 4 AND GETTING MY FILL OF PERCH. THEY ARE RUNNING ON THE 13 INCH SIDE AND I THAT WAS 1/16TH SHY OF 15 INCHES. TWO OR THERE FOURTEEN INCHERS.THE GUY WHO RUNS CEDAR RIDGE ROSORT ON POOL FOUR (I BELEIVE NELSON WISCONSIN) SURE KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE .I WENT OUT THREE TIMES LAST WEEK AND GOT ME LIMIT OF PERCH. EACH TIME I FIX OLD FOLKS UP WITH A MEAL WHO CANNOT MAKE IT OUT .
WENT OUT THIS MONDAY AND GOT MY LIMIT IN LESS THEN 2 HOURS.
THEY BITE ON PLANE HOOK WITH SLIP SINKER 12 INCH UP AND FLATHEAR .IF LUCK HAS IT I WILL BE OUT THERE IN THE AM
WE COULD GET TOGETHER SOME TIME.
WESS AT CEDAR RIDGE RESORT RENT ME THE BAOT CHEAP OTHER WISE I WOULD BE EATING CARP ON JUST KIDDING. I JUST DO NOT HAVE MY OWN BOAT. THANK YOU WESS. HE IS GOOD ON THE INFO.
HE TAKE IN ALOT OF DUCK HUNTERS AND BOW HUNTERS SO I AM USELLY NOT OUT THERE ALONE.

I FORGOT TO MEMTION THAT I GOT A 27 IN" WALLEYE TWO SATURDAYS AGE. WAS A BLAST AND I WAS USING A HAIR JIG.I DONT KNOW HOW TO POST THE PICTURES SO MAYBE I WILL EMAIL THEM TO YOU AND YOU CAN PUT THEM UP FOR ME.WOULD LOVE TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU AND THE GOOD PEOPLE ON THIS SITE.

Jig e mail me the pics I'll post them for you. I'm also looking at taking a buddy up on his offer to the pool I have never fished a big river and would love to try it out but I'm lost on water like that. I'm hoping to hitch a ride with whoever will show me the ropes on the pool so when I get the new boat I can take the wife up for a weekend or 4.

maybe everybody headed up here to fish pool 8  I musth have seen 10 bassboats go by me on Sunday ( i never moved ) and at least 10 other fishing boats...
I couldn't believe how busy it was for mid november.
