Buddy Hillman is plowing the 3rd mile of his road and reports 10-11 inches of ice. That will change fast with no snow to insulate it. He said the walleyes are biting with a crappie here and there. From what Ive read Bear Paw and Cookie are getting alot of Walleye too. The early ice can be great fishing. Im headed that way next weekend. Buddy is letting 1/2 ton and less out of his access. It should be safe seeing as he has been out with his V-Plow
