Im heading down to Okoboji this weekend and was wondering where people are catching the most fish and where I should start Saturday morning. Was down there last weekend and only did good on Spirit lake and usually we always fish Okoboji. Any info will help!
Buddy was on Smith Saturday did good, we didn't do so well Sunday. Saw them but didn't get many takers. Lil E is always worth a look if gills interest you. Canals might hold a few gills and crappies yet. Spirit, Anglers would get my vote. Theres fish out there bite depends on the day. I'm hoping to be out Sat morn for sure I got a spot with a few huge eyes cruising but havent got a hook in any yet.
Good Luck on Saturday Shaley. I will be somewhere on Boji or Spirit Saturday also. When I fish Anglers Bay I park on the north side of the bay on the highway. There are a few paths through the trees that you can get on the lake. Let me know how you all do this weekend!!
I'll be out at sun up Friday trying my luck with the eyes. Might fish Saturday till noon someplace before I have to leave to X Mas at Dads down south. Back at it Monday and luck willing all week chasing the elusive Iowa Great Lakes walleye.
Buddy just called was leaving Millers, small gills mostly and bass was his report. Friend was on Smiths this morning with his Dad about the same gills and bass mostly lookers. I nor my friends have been on Lil E yet so cant say just remember you need a pass to park at the camp again this year, pass fee is $10
