Roy Lake 1.9.08

by Roy Lake Resort on 01/09/2008
Who's Bigger?
Some people are having a little trouble finding fish.

Actually fishing is doing well, but you must be welling to move around. Perch are biting, as well as Northern and walleye as you can see by the pictures. These pictures were caught the last couple of weeks with some caught today......like the 12 1/2 pound Northern. Some 7-9 lb Northerns coming in and a lot in 3-5 lb. range. I don't know about you, but Northerns are my favorite fish to eat.

A good day at Roy Lake Resort!
We are seeing a good Northern bite primarily in the shallow bays. Use tip ups and/or a jig with minnow or chub. Weather has been really nice for fishing and a lot of people are bringing their kids and they are doing great.

If you haven't fished this area before and don't want to use a guide, I invite you to meet Gary and he will be more than happy to tell you what he knows and suggest where you should go. He may even let you follow along. Of course, that is dependent upon what is on his schedule.

Dennis Gregerson and Son
We are taking reservations for the rest of the year, both fishing, family recreation and hunting. We look forward to seeing you.
