Has anyone been catching any panfish on Okoboji or Spirit. We were there last weekend and tried all over Emerson bay and didn't have any luck. A few big perch and thats about it. We are heading to Okoboji this Sunday and have no idea where to start. Any Help??
Little Emerson Bay should be good for gills, where ever there is still weed growth. Let me ask you, did you see fish and not catch them, or did you not even see them? Did you have an underwater camera?

I was down there with goosebuster and we seen a some fish some of them would bite others looked like there werent even intrested in anything we kept moving around alot and just didnt see tons of fish like we usually do.
No we didn't have a camera. We just didn't see as many fish as we usually do but there was so many people out there. Are they getting any on millers or anywhere on Spirit??

If there are fish present, but not willing to bite, try going to the lightest fluorocarbon line you can find.

Yeah we usually use around 2lb line. We just didnt see much for fish. If we find fish we can usually catch them. Sometimes we have problems finding them.
