Please mark your calenders.... Sat June 7th 2008 is the day for the annual Lake Menomin Arm event in Menomonie Wi.That weekend has fishing license those days! Steve Greene and Don Hanson have done a fantastic job in the past years and I am sure 2008 will continue! Lunch will be served and a great day on the water will be had by all! More details to follow!

That is the free fishing weekend for Wisconsin and no license is needed. We would like to have between 12 and 15 boaters for this event. So sign on up here to be a boater and help make it a memorable day for everyone involved. Again lunch will be provided.Any questions just ask. Steve
This event is ALOT of fun guys. The kids and their bigs just want to fish. Doesn't matter what you catch as they enjoy it all. The lake has alot of cribs sunk on the bottom for attracting/catching panfish. Panfish can also be caught on the shorelines, walleyes and northerns can be caught trolling crankbaits or jigging at the head of the lake where the river dumps into it. Its held at a nice park with a shelter and restrooms which is where the boat landing is and parking lot for your tow vehicle and trailer. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll make it this year. Hopefully there will be guys in Wisconsin who live in that area who can help out as gas prices are very high and I know some guys from Minnesota who are having to back off on the out of state trips they are making this year. Thanks, Bill
Thats the way it goes sometimes. It was great having you guys at the past events and wish you could make it but sometimes it just doesn't work out. Maybe next year. We still need quite a few more boaters so if your available sign on up. Steve
