Judy from Wigwam sent me these photos from over the weekend. I dont have much detail to add to them but they look like these fish where a lot of fun to pull threw the ice. Hows fishing up that way Judy?

Me and some friends were intending on Walleye fishing outside on Sunday afternoon, but, as it turned out, we got into the Sturgeon! What a blast! It took a forever to get the Sturgeon through a 10 inch hole! We were fishing outside the Gap in 12 feet of water. The Walleye fishing continues to be good up on the reefs, 20 miles up. We are anxiously waiting for open water on the Rainy River before the Walleye season closes in April! This post/pics should get alot of the Sturgeon fishermen anxious for Aprils Sturgeon Excursion!!
