Is the ice on Spirit Lake expected to hold up for at least one more weekend? Seems like its staying cool enough at night but thought I would ask. Was thinking of trying it out on Good Friday. Thanks IAcrankbait
Thanks guys, that's what I was hoping to hear but wanted to make sure I wouldn't need waders to get out to good ice I've heard some perch are going on the northeast end and thought it would be worth a try. They oughta be stacking up to get into those bays/sloughs.
I had a good time Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Fished the northeast end of Spirit Lake and found some panfish that were willing to cooperate. Still 20" of ice or better but the edges were a little messy in places. Early morning and late evening were better for me. Hopefully one more weekend
