Not bad. Beats the fact that I got nothing friday night!

5/25/08 Here's another it was about 31 inches and 17.9 lbs. I caught another about the same size, 17.5 lbs. just minutes later. It was darn near impossible to even get this photo, as the lens kept fogging due to the thick fog sunday night. Caught on frozen cut sucker minnows, the heads of the minnow is what they are hitting hard on.

DaveL and I must have been catching the same fish. These two are out of the St Croix. First one is 30" length X 18" girth; the second one was 34" length and 22.5" girth.

Nice fish! All mine were caught about 3 miles north of the sunrise river, way north of Taylors falls. If they are dam jumpers, anything is possible.
Here's another around 37 x 20. I didn't get the weight on this one, though it was thick so I would estimate it at around 22+. I had a double on at the time with the other one coming in at 34 inches. I'll admit I need work on the photos though you get the idea.
After seeing the pic myself I realized that my head light must have thrown off the auto focus, note to self: shut off head light before taking picture.
Caught this one on Friday night just as the rain started. It was a fatty. Didn't get time to measure it as it started pouring about 2 minutes later. Fun fish though!

your pic was stretching out the page please resize your pic and then you can repost it here, if you need any help shoot me a PM.
If you link out to photos on photobucket or other photo hosting sites be sure that they are no wider than 450 pixels on either side or you will stretch the page here on the site.
Using the photo upload system here on the site is FAR easier and quicker than using photobucket or other photo hosting sites. The other nice thing about uploading photos to the IDA server is that they'll always be part of the post you added them to. If you browse old threads you'll find nearly all photos added using a hosting site are missing... so the posts that are loaded with all those red "X's" indicating a missing file.

On Friday night we floated the Zumbro river and camped at a sandy beach. There's a deep drop off at the end of a rapids there. I had caught a sheepie earlier and kept it to try as cut bait. I didn't catch any suckers so I tried the sheepie.
Only ten minutes of soaking and I caught a 8.3 pound channel. Then rebaited and within ten minutes my rod doubled over and I landed my personal best from the Zumbro river. 13.8 pounds. There are bigger ones in the lake but out of the river I thought that anything over ten pounds is doing pretty good.
