What's the scoop guys.. can the ice go out this week w/ warm temps and wind as forecasted? I've got the itch badly boys!!
Should I pull my boat up there for the weekend or not bother?
As far as the O2 level on prarie.. that is very very bad.. did they not have the aerator going this year or what?

I would not pull the boat up quite yet. The lakes are starting to open by all the inlets only. Ten Mile is still only open from the south end up about halfway to the county park, and about 50 yds wide. I stoped in at the rod & gun over the week end & was told that there is still people out ice fishing the chain. 1 1/2 weeks ago I was out fishing & there was still 32" of ice, so I think it will be at least another week. I hope this helps.

yea you can forget any idea'a of using the boat, my gues would be another week to 10 days.

thanks guys.. I live right by the ole miss here in sartell, and the ice went off yesterday! wind and warm temps really did some damage quickly.. and the current helps... might go hunting some crappie there tomorrow! Have to meet up w/ you guys sometime when I'm up at the folks house.. plan on spending quite a bit of time on the water there this year.. anyone run w/ a marine radio out there? just got one yesterday.. today's project!!
