Just wondering if anyone does this up there.I would think it would be similar to downrigging.Is it very productive or is it easier to just run 3 ways on a rod and reel?

Personally, I don't think you are going to match up well with the LOTW downriggers. They are running 6 lb balls and pulling up to 3mph in the summer. I would not mess around fishing one line on a HL set up either. Sure, you will catch fish with a HL, but the downrigger will outfish that set up all day long.
