anybody been out sturgeon fishing lately? Was out yesterday for the first time, had one hook up and lost it. Was using crawlers, any advice for future trips?

I have my muskie rod rig w/ 50 lb power pro abu 5500.
What do you mean by terminal tackle?

Terminal tackle would be the swivel, sinker and hook in this case.
Looks like you should get into some fish by the way the reports look.

From the report it sounds like I am using the right gear, was just fishing in the wrong areas. Oh well, there is always next time.
