I made it up to Sportsmans Lodge on the rainy river to fish there second annual sturgeon tournament. This was my first trip to up there to fish for sturgeon and man I will be back! The first day out we boated many fish in the 40" range and two that touched the 50" mark. The fish that won the pot Friday went 59". Day two was much of the same rod bending action but no real big fish coming to the boat for us. Big fish that won the pot on Saturday went 61". What a great fishery!
