not sure if that is near hertle. I know it takes my 30 minutes to get to there from teh cabin. so could be one in the same? it is 961 acres with 73 as a max depth. off of A when you get on the outside of Webster.

Sounds like the same lake. We came up there every year for many years before Wagners sold their resort and it was cut into private lots. We never had bad fishing there. It has been three years or so since we fished it but it was always full of panfish. We never had trouble getting our fill of nice gills. Would always mix in some nice crappies, perch and rock bass. We got a lot of largemouth even though we did not try and the last three years or so we fished there the pike were better and better each year. The lake is full of weed beds. We would head into the wind and just drift back across the lake most of the time. Just hitting pocket after pocket of fish in the weeds. We loved that lake and had a blast! Hope this helps some.

No, we never made it there. We did find a little bar in Webster that had great food we ate at a couple times though.

Sand Bar is long gone. Bulldozed and replaced with a home. Had a lot of fun at that bar.
