The kids will start arriving at 8:00AM. We will want the boats at the ready. Please bring bait and poles for the kids to use. We will have water and probably some snacks to take with you in the boat. Also make sure you have life jackets on board.
We will probably end up using a couple of landings because there is a tournament that is launching out of point comfort. The landing on the west side of the lake has room for 30 plus rigs so most of us may have to launch there. I will be at that landing or nearby there from 7:00AM until 7:30. if we have everybody launched by then we will be in good shape. Woody and Doc, maybe you guys could give Steve a hand unloading things at point comfort.
Direction to the landing- coming from the west, exit off of I94 at exit 41. Take a right at the top of the ramp (south) you will go through 2 stoplights. K-Mart will be on your left at the first light and Walgreens will be on your right at the 2nd light. Continue straight throught both lights. The road will bend slightly left and you will see the lake in front of you. At the next light at the bottom of the incline, take a left- and continue on to the landing. can't miss it. If any one has any questions just ask here. If everyone can hang around the West landing untill 7:30 that will give the bass tourney guys time to leave the Point Comfort area. Maybe just launch and anchor out front and to the side of the landing untill then or if you get there earlier to try a little prefishing please try to be around the library landing between 7:00-7:30, as Don will have a list of boaters that he is waiting on. Jackie and I will have hot coffee/hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies ready for you when you arrive at Point Comfort which is only 1 or maybe two minutes from the landing by the library. If anyone has a larger size cutting board and can bring it with please send me a pm or reply here. My cell number is 715-556-1299 and will be on Saturday.
