I made it out on Saturday and Sunday with my 5 year old. We had a great time on the water, especially on Saturday when it wasn't so hot in the sun. My little fishing buddy had a blast netting fish, including this 20" sauger. We tried trolling for the first time this year on Sunday and was bit off by a big fish shortly after getting set up. The baking sun and lack of hardbaits put an early end to that so we went for a ride and got off the water before we wilted. Sorry it took a few days to post but ido changed the link to the page and my shortcut wasn't working. I hope the rest of you can find the forum again!
Was out saturday afternoon with a buddy and fished the blackhawk area. Caught a couple goats, small whitebass and a carp. White bass were on a tear for those who could find them. A few people out. Decided to take a mental health day from from work yesterday. Fished the lake for a bit trolling with nothing but a snagged monster carp . What a blast getting that thing in. Headed back to the river and saw the areas were the white bass were again on a tear. Asked the nice guy could I anchor near (since it was a tight spot. He was there Saturday and we all remembered each other. Fast action on spinners. Caught about 30 nice ones and kept a couple for a meal. A couple guys working the breaks for walleyes with a few picked up here and there. Decided to fish that last 1.5 hours for walleye again. Picked up a 20, 14 and 8 inchers. Nice day to be out and away from work.
Walleyes on crawlers and minnows.
Great people and great river (weekdays only)

Hi everyone, I finally found you again Looks like you guys are having some good times on the water. Great pics too Databoy. I might be able to get out this weekend. Hope to see some of you on the water. Good fishing to all. Denny
Be careful out there, water is fast and up again with lots of full trees and debris floating down the river. I was out last night for an 1-2 hours before being chased off by the storm. The water was also very muddy again down by Blackhawk Island so we tried trolling the rock pile and got a couple small white bass.
The sewage treatments plants in Fort Atkinson and Jefferson are at or near capacity, officials said, and more flooding, rain or both could overwhelm the systems and force both cities to release treated or partially treated sewage into the Rock River.
