Headed up to Lac Seul Outposts next weekend. Anyone ever have any luck smallmouth fishing around there? I didn't see any pictures of any smallmouths on their webiste and was just wondering. If so, what tackle should I take to target them? Thank you much.

I fished their last year and all we caught were walleyes and pike. Never really tried for bass and never heard of anyone catching any either. Huge walleyes and pike in there though!!

Thanks Goose....I am looking forward to those monster 'eyes and pike but just thought maybe one day I would have fun and try for some smallies if they are around. Thanks again!

I fish every year out of Mahkwa and always take a day and smallmouth fish. Nobody fishes for them! Had a blast casting inline spinners and xraps. There are a ton of islands that hold fish pretty simple fishing. Take a day you won't regret it!
