Big Sandy Update
#681015 - 06/05/08 12:49 PM
Just to drop a note the water level is down and the walleyes are back to there usual haunts!
We have had two fabulous weeks on walleyes.
Get up there and get on them.

Sand Burr, my family and I are making our second pilgimage to Big Sandy next week. Your comments last year were a big help.
Are the spinner rigs pulled in front of the wind-swept rocky structure still the ticket? Any thoughts on colors?
Is there any kind of crappie/bluegill pattern in case the favorite wife and kids get bored?

Check out my latest update!
Yes spinners working great! I have been using more chartruse than hammered copper this year.
Pull up to any of the swiming docks and pich a jig and minnow and I think a 1 lbs crappie will get there head spining!
Drop me a line if you need more info!
I have a great tip on fishing trout from the shore!
