TODAYS ARM EVENT ON LAKE MENOMIN WAS ANOTHER HUGE SUCCESS WITH EVERY BOAT BRINGING IN FISH AND PLENTY OF STORIES TO GO ALONG WITH THEM.I HAD THE PLEASURE OF FISHING WITH A YOUNG MAN NAMED JOHN AND HIS PARTNER JOE.JOHN HANDLED THE POLE LIKE A PRO AND WAS THE FIRST TO FIND THE FISH FOR US.WE HAD A COUPLE OF HOURS OF FISHING IN THIS MORNING WHEN A THUNDERSTORM CAME IN AND FORCED US OFF THE WATER FOR ABOUT AN HOUR THEN THE SUN CAME BACK FOR US AND IT WAS FISHING IN FULL FORCE.WE HAD A VARIETY OF FISH IN OUR BOAT MOSTLY COMING IN ON BLUE SHAD RAPS.WE DIDNT SET ANY RECORDS ON SIZE BUT EVERY FISH THAT CAME IN FOR JOHN WAS A MONSTER.THIS WAS THE BEST DAY ON THE WATER FOR ME IN A LONG TIME,NOT JUST FOR THE FISH BUT THE MEMORIES THAT YOUNG MAN WILL HAVE FOREVER.NOT ONLY WAS HE A GREAT FISHERMAN HE WAS ALSO A TOP SHELF BOAT DRIVER.I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ARM EVENT TO GIVE IT A TRY.THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME AND CERTAINLY NOT MY LAST.HERE ARE A FEW PICS FROM TODAY.A BIG THANK YOU GOES OUT TO DON HANSON,STEVE GREEN,STEVES WIFE,ALL THE FOLKS WHO DONATED PRIZES,FOOD AND DRINKS, AND ALL OTHERS FOR GETTING THE EVENT TOGETHER TODAY AND MAKING IT A HUGE SUCCESS.

It was another Great ARM event this year. Everyone did have to duck back in for an hour of hot chocolate,coffee and cookies to let the storm pass but it all worked out in the end.I'll have a few photos to post tomorrow and I know others will have some so check back in. I want to thank all the boaters for taking the time and sharing their Saturday with the BB/BS group that came. I also want to thank Moores Tackle, Dominoes Pizza,Dairy Queen,Everts Resort and of course Jackie for baking cookies Friday and for getting up at 4:00 and helping all day. A special thank you goes out to the Red Cedar Bass Masters for donating all the great prizes for the kids.

I also had a blast, great time on the water. It was good to get back on the lake. Thanks again to everyone that put time and money into running and facilitating this event. You can put my name down for next year already. I'll post some pictures tonight when I get off work

I really had fun at this event, I will certainly be back to fish the lake again. A big "THANKS" to Steve for all the footwork and time put into this event, you really did a nice job and put together a nice event. Count me in for next year also....

We had a great time and once again a class act put on by all involved. I did not see one disappointed child or boater-nothing but smiles. Due to the colder water temps, the gill bite was way off compared to last year, but Bob J. found some going into the beds later Sat. afternoon and got to experience some of those famous 10 inch Menomin gills--I've never him that excited other than when a walleye is around. Big thank you to Steve Greene and his wife well as all the others.

Way to go guy`s sure sorry I had to miss this years. A big thanks to all who put there time and effort into this event.  Kids really appreciate it, even the bigs get a kick out of going out and fishing.
To bad the rain didn`t hold off until after the event like last year.
