Medicine Lake

#681585 - 06/07/08 09:55 PM

I thought I'd save some gas by fishing a close to home lake. Got out on Medicine last night and tonight. Nothing huge but I did get a few bass and northerns. Mostly fished weed flats 3'-7' with spinner baits, HJs, and X-raps. Got bit off boatside by a 35"+ northern

are you looking for bass or the toothy critters, medicine holds some nice fish in it, you might want to slow down and go to a texas rigged worm or something for some bigger bass.

how was the launch, last year it was really shallow, is it still the same this year?

Thanks Shane, I've got a long way to go to figure out where the high percentage spots are. 1.9 feet is the shallowest between the channel bouys I found, except for one rock or something that is 1.5 in one spot.

well one of these weekends when I am not doing nothing, I can show you some great spots for largies, when we had our club tourney there, one guy pulled a 6lb 4 oz largie. he had 18 pounds in his 4 fish, blew the whole club away.

shot me a pm and I can show you a few spots on the lake that are not on the lake master chip or other lake maps.
