So the word on the street is that Nature Vision will not be honoring the Marcum warranties? I am very concerened as I bought a new LX-5 this past winter/spring and will be livid if this is true.....any first hand knowledge I would greatly appreciate!
Any anger should be directed at the previous ownership and NOT Nature Vision in my opinion. My understanding is that Marcum (pre-nature vision) went belly up. How? I have no idea as their sales were off the charts. If Nature Vision had not bought up their assets all of us out here with a MarCum product would be completely SOL. No warranties. No parts. No service.
Thankfully Nature Vision is offering a flat rate service on all products that will take care of customers that purchased products under the former ownership.
A good thing to come of this is that Nature Vision is a very stable and well-financed company that won't be going anywhere any time soon so there shouldn't be any warranty issues going forward.
