... with my daughter Tuesday night was a blast. She recently upgraded from her little "Barbie Pole" to a big girl's Zebco combo and was anxious to put the hammer to some unsuspecting panfish. She started out casting a yellow twister with no takers so I switched her to a little pink and white crappie jig. That did the trick. She started reeling in crappie after crappie like a professional jig fisherman. In short time Tamara and I watched her pole bend over. I thought it might be a catfish but after a little huffing and puffing she pulled out a dandy little walleye. She was so proud. I think she's ready to join the tour!
On the way home we spotted a deer in the field and snapped a quick photo. A great way to end a fun evening with the kid.

Great report, Wade. The problem we have around Central City now is that all of our lakes are interconnected. It's one big lake from Archer to Worms and beyond. We need a lot more of the blue skies that Brian was mentioning. No rain for at least a week, please.
Again, great report and super photos of a great family outing.
