How did you target the trout in that lake? It's so clear!

Sight fishing?

where is square lake? I haven't done any trout fishing for a few years but would love a belly full of trout one night. what was working well for bait? live, salmon eggs, that funky multi colored powerbait or artificial?

Ryan, you'll need a Washington County Park Permit or pay the fee for access. I THINK it's $10... the yearly permit is much less expensive if you go to the parks a few times. Launch at the Bluff Park on the Croix with the same permit.

Don't forget your trout stamp.
