Has anyone had any luck with 10" worms up here in Minnesota?
I was thinking of trying them this year and wanted to see what you have tried?

I have a friend who swears by them. They are way to big for me though....like fishing with a snake.

They work and you'd be supprised at how many 12" fish will hit em.

I've had great luck with them in late summer and early fall. I have not tried them much in spring or early summer, but I'm sure the fish with bite them then just as well.

I have had GREAT LUCK with them on a T-rig in the dog days of summer. because of their high metabolism on hot days, they will be all over these 10"ers. Like said before, you would be surprised as to how many 12" bass you will catch

I will agree with you on that, I seem to use them more in the fall then i do any other time of the year. If i'm fish a school of bass or if i know there is a school of bass in a area i like to throw these to catch the bigger fish. Don't get me wrong the 12"er will eat these things but i have really good luck with them. I use them both on T-Rig and Carolina rigs

Well I'm not in MN but am in IA. I started using 10" worms last year about mid summer with great success. I primarily use them weightless with a 5/0 Offset Gamakatsu and throw them into brush piles. This worked great and I caught some nicer fish doing so, I also as mentioned above caught some brave 12" fish as well.
Good luck with the BIG WORM!

I'm not saying they make a difference, it's just what I feel confident in. Heck if had to dip a 10" worm in peanut butter to get a bite you better believe I'd have a jar in the boat at all times, the good stuff too(Jiff)! Confidence goes a long way in success with anything.
That being said, I catch them on regular colored hooks as well.

I bought a bunch of 10" ribbontails when I was in Florida last January, and caught almost all of my fish with them. I have used them up here all summer, not a single strike. So far this year, my most productive plastic has been a Big Dead Ringer.
