BomberA decided to take the day off on Monday and I had the option of coming in and vetoed that idea, so it was off to the lake. I can't remember the last time I got to fish in calm conditions and today was no different. The wind greeted us upon arrival but the fish cooperated too. No real pigs today but plenty of consistent action throughout our outting. Jerk baits, buzz baits, spinners, and plastics all had their moments today. The muskies seemed to be found of the jerk baits and buzzers. We didn't land any big muskies but I was able to tanlge with a 30 + incher on a buzz bait for about 3 secs. before he came unbuttoned. Here are a few of the better fish. These fish came in a little deeper water than where we were catching the smaller fish.
