Other than retail, I would watch here, walleye central, and ebay for the gps you are looking for.

Not all map chips will run on the x-15. All lakemaster's will, but only certain navionics.

I don't know where you can find a gps module for it but most of the mapping like the new lakemaster maps will not work because of the software. most of the maps out now will only work in newer units

That is one of the original GPS modules.. good luck finding one.. also as mentioned before the newer chips will not work, I think I would look into upgrading that unit.. JMO (color is nice)

I agree 100% Lowrance doesn't support fixing x15's anymore either, so even if you put the money into the GPS, there is no way to fix the unit of you have any problems, I think the money would be better invested in a new unit that is supported, and runs the current mapping chips.

Or even a stand alone unit like an Lowrance H2O if you didn't want to give up on the x-15.

No, not the "best" graph on the market but they are still good units. The GPS is dead accurate, the sounder shows everything the new B/W's do. They still run the lakemaster chips, no problems, at least my 07 LM works. As far as Nav, someone may want to correct me but I believe they run the hotmaps and classic. I'm running both a new lakemaster and nav. Both work great, 1ft countours...can't remember which nav I have and the boats at the lake. I try to tell myself I should upgrade...no reason till it quits showing me were the fish are/aren't...I do have my eye on the side imaging though!!

If what your looking for is the gps antenna, ebay has several, I think cabelas sells them, jolly ann probably has them as well?? You can still buy them new...I think about $130.
