We had our 6th and best tournament of the year Saturday morning at Burchard Lake in southeast Nebraska. This tournament was one of the funnest events we have had yet. 12 Teams teams came out to compete. Everyone caught their 5 fish limit. 60 fish were caught for a total weight of 196.56 lbs. The average of everyones big bass was 4.26 pounds and the average bass was 3.28 pounds.
1st, Lee Wubbels and Doyle Languis both of Lincoln, 18.56 pounds, 5 bass 2nd, Tom Graybill of David City and Jerry Wade of Prague, 18.38 pounds, 5 bass 3rd, Josh Everett of Bennet and Matthew Anderson of Lincoln, 18.19 pounds, 5 bass Big Bass, Craig Vacek and Jim Kitchen both of Lincoln, 5.45 pounds
Our next tournament is July 1st at Olive Creek.
The first photo is Craig Vacek with the big bass of the tournament he caught on the first cast on a frog. That photo is followed by a few from Tom Graybill and Jerry Wade followed by Jayme Goebel and Steve Wittenhagen. Then the last few are a few nice ones Justin Semin and I caught. The last two photos are of Justin's largest bass he has ever caught. It was 4.63 pounds.
