Foot pedal

Foot pedal went out on trolling motor again. Place I got it last time is no longer in business. Anybody know of place in Rochester area where I can pick one up? Thanks.

Gander mnt.should have them or any of the marine stores like Al's specialty.Have to replace mine about every 2 yrs.

Thanks. I'll check with them. Yep every 2 years. Last two times happened while on family vacation.

just replaced my too. $73. the repair place i got mine from said the main reason they go out is from overheating the switch when trying to turn them while stuck in the mud. don't know if it's true or not.

I don't think that's the reason they go out. I used to burn through pedals every couple months when I was guiding full-time. And I've never had my trolling motor stuck in the mud... ever.

Art give www.motorclinic.com a call they might be able to fix the one you have cheaper than a new one. Fast servive and they get the job done right the first time.
