Anyone know where I can find a...

#688243 - 06/30/08 12:46 PM

Long story short, I found out the trolling motor plug on the family boat had gotten fried. I need a new one. It's a Marinco like the one pictured below (just need the male end).

Fleet Farm did not have any. Anyone know somewhere in the NW metro that carries these? The closer to Crystal/Brooklyn Park, the better. I don't want to drive all over for a $20 part, but I need to fix it so it's useable over the 4th.

Thanks

I just got one from Cabelas online. Don't know if you'll get it by the 4th though. You can probably do expedited shipping...

Each component (male/female) should have the Marinco part number on it. When I installed my new trolling I called Crystal Pierz with the number and they hooked me up. I’m willing most marine dealers will have it.

Ryan, If Jon can't hook you up I can get one to you by the weekend if you can get it ordered today or Tuesday morning. It is a MARINCO 2018BP-24 (our ID #36636). It'd be $26 which includes the shipping cost. If you end up needing it here's my order form:

Remember, there's no delivery on Friday this week with the holiday so order promptly if you need one for the weekend.

I'm starting to think I should just replace the plug and receptacle with a different model. This one seems like overkill for a 12V 40lb Powerdrive.

I think there may have been other factors at play...

I got mine at cabela's, but I would think Gander *should* have them, mine was the three prong variety, incase that matters...

A 220 volt four wire is the same plug except they moved the slot to align it to the oppoxite side of the one prong. I just get mine from Menards.

That works? I will check it out! Thanks! GM and Cabela's both had none

Jon, thank you for the offer. I will let you know if I need it.

If Jon has one, I'd go that way. The other option you have is Northern Wholesale Supply in Lino Lakes- they have a City Desk department that sells to the public and more than likely have that plug in stock.
