hey guys its me again! only 3 weeks till we go up for family vacation were lookin for the usual pike walleye crappie... etc. my dads been lookin around in his lake book (so have some other people) and they came up with some lakes for me to ask about so i made a list. Any info is greatly appreciated
1. is anna any good or is it still full of carp?
2. Star lake?
3. What are the levels?
4. Round lake (north of star)?
5. Ellingson lake?
6. how deep are the eyes on OT
7. Water tempraturs?

I don't have any info on lake other than OtterTail at the moment. But if you stop in at Ken's in Amour they will know the scoup.
As for OT the water temps were in the low to mid 70's with a strong may fly hatch in progress over the 4th. The only thing we did all weekend was pull cranks. During the day the Pike bit was good. (Even though we didn't want them.) As evening hit the eyes would start to livin up, but with the hatch things were a but slow. I would expect most of the hatch to be done over the next week or two and things will pick up. Focus your day time bite in 17 to 25ft of water and see if you can pin point where there holding. In the evening look shallow for the feeding cruisers up on the flats. (I like Amour flats) Good luck and let us know how things go when your back.

this year was another not so good year
sunday we started off on fish lake we caught 4 walleye 2 crappie 2 sunnies and 12 bass
the next day gary sent us to johnson lake we caught 31 bass
tuesday we started on dead lake we caught 2 crappie but things were so slow that we pulled out and went to another lake round lake just north of star we caught a butt load of sunnies a bass a bullhead and a pike
wednesday we went to our secret lake and got shut out so we decided to go to Norway lake and caught 3 pike ( i entered mine in the Ben's bait fishing contest it was 3.6lbs and 25inches)
wednesday night we went to fiske couaght a northern and a bass
thursday we got a late start becuase it was supposed to be rainy but we ended up trolling for walleyes at the south end of walker lake caught one crappie 4 bullheads trolling! and my dad caught a 5.5lb 33inche northern (he took it to Ben's bait)
the last day we went to lake marion and caught nuthin
that was the trip for this year not the worst but not as good as its been
