14 foot Trolling Rods

#689062 - 07/03/08 07:48 AM

If you have ever experienced the frustration of tangled leadline or hardline messes this might be of interest to you.The long & short of this, is we now have available a 2 piece 14 ft trolling rod to offer for your trolling arsenal.

These three rods pictured should really give you flexable options when working different spreads.Shown here are the 5ft cork handled shorty $49, the 9 ft telescoping $89 , and the 14 ft 2 piece at $149.

Jason Mitchell an avid fisherman himself, put these designs together for the lineup shown. These rods also offer a "common sense" limited lifetime warranty as well.

Early field test reports on the 14 ft rods have been conducted with both hardline and leadcore line by River Rat Randy Stevens and Stickboy who both have many hours on the water report to the action and design of these rods.

As always,test drives welcomed!

Can't you get a better model???

Dean you have sparked my interest with the 14 footer.

How would these do with pulling boards.

Boards you ask.....they will handle boards just fine...but one of these rods will be coming up your way to find out for yourself.

Just thinking about taking up trolling this year. They look like they'd work out great! See ya this weekend when I come to check them out.

Lemme see, 6fow, leadcore, 1.5 mph. 12 feet in the water and 14 feet laying on the rod????

Might just work....

Come on Richard...you've wrote a chapter in the book of trolling.

I heard Mr. Halfen will be giving these a whirl. I can't wait to demo them myself.

I have nothing but good to say about them. I Put them through a extensive trolling run without any tangles. Caught fish on them. Largest being 24" and the 14 footer handeled it with no problems. These will pull planer boards with no problems if you are out on a lake. I am adding 2 to the arsanal
You really must try them out they are fantastic. I dont think a report on how well they worked will cover on how well they actually worked. Give dean a shout and try some out and see for your self.

Not really....they do bend in quite a bit when the big fish get hooked up on them.
