Since there is a large amount of traffic on this site from the Rochester area, I was wondering if anyone of you have or know a young adult that would be interested in some weekly lawn care for my wife and I. Last week I broke my leg pretty badly and I will be on cruthces and a cast for about 10 weeks. My wife is 5 months pregnant so I'd rather not have her out pushing the mower around and picking up dog poo. Our lawn is a pretty standard lawn for the town of Byron and I have all the equipment necessary including a self propelled JD mower, weed whacker, and hedge trimmer. I'd rather not pay for a professional lawn care service as the guys on my softball teams were willing to take care of the lawn for me. Instead of asking them all the time, I'd rather pay a hard working, young adult. So if you know of someone that may be interested, shoot me a PM. I figured I'd negotiate the pay with the individual. I'd make sure it was worth their time and efforts. I live on the NE side of Byron in town.
Thanks for the help.

You better get that leg patched up. We only have 12 weeks till go time...... Then again maybe I can slow you down enough for a hunt this year with that bad wheel.
Good luck getting healed up. Shoot me a call if you get up this way.
The doctor ensured me that I will only be in a cast for 10 weeks after my surgery last Wednesday so I'll be good to go for Early season. The new baby is scheduled in November 20, so I'll have to be busy in order to fill the freezer before then. I'll have another mouth to feed in the house so I will either have to hunt more or shoot straighter.

Man that sucks, if your in a pinch and need some other help just send me a PM or call me (I think you still have my number). I will do what I can, my boy is a little too young or I would offer him up to help with the yard. Good thing you can still shoot them ducks with a bum leg.

Well, I play on a couple different softball leagues down here and a two weeks ago our team had won the game, but then decided to scrimmage the other team a couple more innings. During one the the extra innings there was a play at the plate and I ran to home to cover it. I caught the ball to my right and went for a tag to an assumed sliding runner. When I turned, all I saw was shoulder. My left leg was planted hard and I spun around breaking my fibula in 3 places and tearing the ligament under the socket in my foot. Needless to say, my bell was rung pretty good. The good new is that I got the guy out and I was fortunate enough to hit a huge bomb that night. Last Wednesday I got some plates, screws, and bolts installed so now I officially have a bionic leg.
Prieser - Thanks for the offer, but I think I have some leads on some help. The guys on my team would also cut my lawn, but I'd rather not bother them when I could help a kid by letting them earn a few extra bucks.

Sorry to hear about that Jason you got my number as well if ya need anything...get Robin up there to do it instead of him going golfing every night, or making me have to look out my kitchen window at his ugly mug having drinks on the deck seriously though heal up fast and if ya need anything just hollar!
As soon I get done with the Percocet, I'd be happy to join you over a few cocktails. I figure it's a little early in the recovery to start mixing up the Brett Farve cocktails.
