I've been finding more and more of these nice channels while pulling cranks on lead in the main lake. This particular once came on a guide trip last week, and hit the tape at 29+", 9 lbs 10 oz. This fish was a HOOT to fight on an Everts shorty leadcore rod.
With the walleyes chasing schools of baby panfish in open water, it should come as no surprise that the predatory cats are out there doing the same thing.
