Fished Big McGraw on the 5th Evening from 4-6 only 2 fish. I did figure out that they were very deep in the pads with all the boat traffic, fireworks etc. After dinner, came back out and caught 12-15 bass deep in the pads on a topwater frog. It was a blast. On the 6th and I must say I am so Jealous of northern WI and MN for their clear water lakes, I fished 26 lake. Horrible boat launch, but caught so many bass I was tired. It had been a long time since I watched fish pick up the worm as I set the hook. I could see 12-14 ft. Unreal. Nothing real big, but there are so many downed trees that hold bass, it was fun. Would have liked to get to the Hayward area, but seemed to far and I thought I might be wasting time. Thanks for checking in.
