Went up this morning hoping to troll for suspended fish, but made a change of plans when we saw the lake. After my past weekend trip to ML and a tournament I fished two weekends ago, battling 4 footers didn't sound like fun today.
Good news is that we got to explore some shallow weed areas we've been talking about for a while, and we were close enough to the west shore that the wind wasn't a factor. The action wasn't fast and furious, but we had enough activity to keep us going. Biggest fish was right at 26", the rest were around 21"-23". We were casting jigs/plastics in less than 10' of water.
Anyone else make it out this weekend? (It's been a little quiet in here ).
